8178 Series – Precision Hand Brushes for Industrial and Detail Work
The 8178 Series features a range of compact, block-style hand brushes designed for precision cleaning, surface prep, and light-duty material removal. Available with hardwood or durable plastic handles, these brushes are built to deliver control and comfort in tight spaces or fine-detail applications.
With multiple bristle fill options—including stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and nylon—the 8178 Series covers everything from weld prep and rust removal to cleaning delicate surfaces or non-sparking environments. Each brush in this series features a densely packed 6 x 9 row configuration for consistent performance, with a trimmed 1/2 in filament length and a brush length of 2-1/2 in.
Whether you’re working in metal fabrication, maintenance, electronics, or general shop environments, the 8178 Series offers the flexibility and reliability to get the job done right.
Stainless Steel: Tough and corrosion-resistant. Best for rust removal, weld prep, and heavy-duty scrubbing on hard metals.
Aluminum: Softer than steel and non-magnetic. Suitable for non-sparking environments or cleaning softer metals without over-aggressiveness.
Brass: Gentle on surfaces. Ideal for cleaning softer metals, electrical contacts, and plated finishes without causing damage.
Nylon: Non-abrasive and chemical-resistant. Great for general cleaning on non-metal surfaces, lab equipment, and delicate parts.
