Applications for Power Brushes:
Deburring: Gornell power brushes are ideally suited for
completely removing machine burrs. Brushes can be used on unlimited types of
materials and are excellent tools for deburring irregular shaped parts.
Surface Finishing: Our brushes are used to refine or
improve the surface conditions which have been ground or roughly finished.
The brush removes the small protruding particles without changing the final
desired dimensions.
Edge Blending: Power brushes are widely used for
rounding or blending corners. Proper edge blending tends to relieve stress concentrations
and part fatigue while improving the surface finish.
Cleaning: Power brushes are used in wet or dry
applications for the removal of surface film, scale, dirt, rust, paint, etc.
The fiber filled power brushes are used for wet applications.
Roughening: Gornell Power Brushes are suited for
roughening a surface prior to bonding or painting. The brush roughened
surface creates a better bond for adhesion.
